News: Feb 03, 2022
As the second year with Global Sustainable Futures (GSF) comes to a close, I’m pleased to introduce this report, where we summarise progress on several fronts. Strategic collaboration with partners at East African universities has taken a leap forward with the support of a new grant from STINT. Our two pilot projects on Sustainable Development Goals 6 and 8, Clean Drinking Water and Sanitation and Decent Work and Economic Growth, respectively, have matured into promising thematic working groups. We have concluded a mapping of current interest in collaboration with partners in low- and middle-income countries and found a broad variety of exchange and collaboration at our two universities, Chalmers and University of Gothenburg. With our second annual conference and webinar series, GSF has established these events, portraying global collaboration involving Chalmers and University of Gothenburg and dialogue on timely topics, as a tradition.
On behalf of our dedicated team, I thank all who have engaged in GSF activities during the year and look ahead to a healthy, collaborative and sustainable 2022.
Magdalena Eriksson, Platform Leader.
