Urban Futures is an platform working within the field of sustainable urban development, one of the most important societal challenges today. All projects within Urban Futures are run jointly by researchers and practitioners with the aim to realising fair, green and accessible cities.
The Board of Urban Futures consists of representatives from the eight partners, where each partner appoints its own board member. The board is responsible for the overall strategic planning and management of the Centre and is its highest decision-making body.The precidency is rotating between the eight partners.

The coordinating group has more of an executive and advisory role in Urban Futures. In the group there are appointed coordinators for each partner organisation. Some organisations have more than one coordinator depending on the extent or need of the specific organisation. The coordinating group is a forum for developing co-creation/cooperation between the partners, when it comes to projects, possible activities and other forms of collaboration, but also with the aim to develop the organisation and its activities.
